Wenpei Lin

Ms. Wenpei (Viola) Lin is the Director of Public Affairs at CATL Europe, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s relationships with policymakers, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders across Europe. A graduate of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Ms. Lin has spent over a decade fostering collaboration between Chinese and German industries, particularly in the small and medium enterprise sector. Her intercultural competence, multilingual abilities, and strategic insight have been instrumental in strengthening partnerships between these two key markets.
Since joining CATL in early 2022, Ms. Lin has been a driving force behind the company’s advocacy for green energy innovation and sustainable development. In addition to her public affairs work, she also serves as CATL Germany’s Human Rights Officer and Code of Conduct Supervisor, ensuring compliance with critical legislation, including the German Supply Chain Act and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
Based in Berlin, Ms. Lin continues to drive CATL’s commitment to sustainability.
