Stephan Lutz is the Group CFO of BitMEX. BitMEX is one of the leading and innovating crypto derivatives players in the market. It is there since the evolution of the market and inventor of the most traded crypto contract, the perpetual swap. Stephan directs BitMEX’s financial growth, expansion, and profitability.

He was formerly a partner at PwC for nearly a decade, advising many of the world’s largest financial institutions as Capital Markets Sector Lead for PwC Europe. Before working at PwC, Stephan held senior management positions at Deutsche Börse, and worked in Strategy Consulting at Roland Berger.
