Rudolf Haas, LL.M. (Virginia)

Rudolf Haas is a partner in KWM’s Frankfurt Office, heading the German Finance practice.

He advises on securities issues and other financings, both debt and equity, as well as public M&A transactions. His clients are issuers, bidders, underwriters, investors and financial advisers. In recent years, Rudolf Haas has advised, inter alia, CEINEX in connection with the establishment of the D-Share Market, Weichai Power as anchor investor in the EUR 900 million capital increase of KION Group AG, Bank of China in connection with an acquisition financing and Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone in its EUR 225 million and EUR 60 million Schuldschein issues maturing in 2031.

Mr. Haas studied law in Freiburg, Regensburg and at the University of Virginia (LL.M. 1994) and has been practicing as an attorney since 1997. He is admitted as a Rechtsanwalt in Germany and as Attorney-at-Law in Virginia. Mr. Haas regularly speaks on issues of capital markets law.
