Jürgen-Hendrik Kuhn is a CIO / CTO and executive board member with 20 years of experience in business and IT transformation, technology M&A, and leading large global technology teams.
He joined HSBC Germany in 2021 as Chief Information Officer, where he is responsible for technology across the Wholesale, Markets & Securities Services and Private Banking business in Germany.
Prior to that, Hendrik was Chief Technology Officer and Member of the Group Executive Board at Alter Domus, a Luxemburg-based fund administration service provider. In this role, he stabilized and transformed the IT function, integrated several strategic acquisitions to grow the business and to strengthen its data and analytics foundation, and delivered innovative technology platforms and products.
Before that, Hendrik worked in advisory for close to 15 years, holding senior leadership positions at Accenture, McKinsey and Alvarez & Marsal. He focused on developing technology strategies and on delivering large-scale global technology programs for public and private companies, as well as on rapid operational performance improvement for PE firms and their portfolio companies.
He started his career with IBM hands-on as mainframe system programmer.
Hendrik holds an engineering degree in Information Technology from Cooperative State University Baden Württemberg as well as an MBA from Handelshochschule Leipzig.
He is also a member of the “Ausschuss für Banktechnologie” in the Association of German Banks.
