Christian Cornett is based in KWM’s office in Frankfurt am Main with a special focus on public M&A and equity capital markets transactions, in particular PIPE (private investment in public equity) transactions. He supports clients looking to acquire financial or strategic stakes in enterprises and establishing their European structures. He has been involved in a large number of transactions for both financial and strategic investors, including inter alia private or state-invested Chinese clients. Transactions led by Christian Cornett include private equity and other M&A transactions, joint-ventures, public-take overs (including taking-privates), block trades and PIPEs (private investment in public equity), acting both for strategic or financial investors from the US, China as well as for German investors. Recent PIPE transactions for Chinese investors include, inter alia, investments in KION AG or Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.

Christian is also frequently consulted by management and supervisory boards and by individual members of such boards, especially in the context of transactions.
