Andreas Niklaus

Mr. Niklaus is Senior Vice President and as member of the Executive Management Board of State Street Bank International GmbH responsible for the Depotbank and Custody Services business units.
Mr. Niklaus joined State Street in 2003 and managed the Depotbank until 2006. Following Deutsche Bank’s sale of its GSS business to State Street, Mr. Niklaus successfully integrated the Depotbank into State Street Bank International GmbH. He has been the Chief Operating Officer since 2006 and is responsible for Global Services in Germany, Austria, Netherlands and the Nordics.
His career began with an apprenticeship within the savings and loans association, followed by a degree in banking at the Frankfurt School of Finance. Andreas managed various functions within Deutsche Bank’s Securities Services division including Corporate Actions and Sales and Account Management for Institutional clients.
