Bo Nielsen

Bo joined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions as Head Risk Data Services Corporate Propositions end of 2021 to focus on bringing new data driven risk insight services to Swiss Re’s corporate clients.

Bo has spent +25 years in the Cloud and AI Industry with leadership roles at IBM, Microsoft, and the French startup Shift Technology. Previous roles includes heading IBM’s cloud services business in Europe, leading the integration of multiple +1B$ cloud and data services acquisitions for IBM in Europe, and driving new offerings to market at Shift Technology to serve primary insurers with AI-based claims automation solutions.

Bo is a native Dane having worked the last 20 years abroad in Sweden, Ireland, Germany, and Switzerland. He holds a M.Sc. in Business Administration from Odense University (DK) and continued executive development at IMD (CH), the Smeal School of Business, Penn State University (USA), and the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University (USA).
