René Wienholtz (geb. 1974) ist seit seinem 18. Lebensjahr leidenschaftlicher Unternehmer. Nach dem Abschluss seiner Hochschulausbildung als Wirtschaftsinformatiker ging er zu US-High-Tech-Firmen wie Silicon Graphics und Sun Microsystems, um seine Kenntnisse in den Bereichen des technischen Innovationsmanagements, Kommunikation, Vertrieb und Führungsverantwortung zu erweitern.

Diese Erfahrungen nahm er mit in seine Rolle als CTO bei STRATO, einem der führenden IT-Hosting Unternehmen in Europa, wo er für alle technischen Belange, Innovationspipelines und den Fokus auf Agilität und Design Thinking verantwortlich war.

Nach 17 Jahren als CTO bei STRATO hat er im Jahr 2020 die LOOM Impact AG gegründet – eine neuartige Impact Finance Boutique im Sinne einer ökologisch/sozial-orientierten Investment Bank. Das Ziel des Unternehmens ist es, deutlich mehr privates & institutionelles Geld für dieses neue Anlagesegment zu gewinnen und erreichte positive Effekte entlang der UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) per NFT-basierter Tokenisierung für jedes Unternehmen handelbar zu gestalten.

René Wienholtz (born 1974) founded his first company when he was 18 and several others thereafter. After finishing the college, he went to US high-tech companies like Silicon Graphics & Sun Microsystems to learn about tech innovation management, communications, sales & management skills.

He took these experiences to his role as the CTO at STRATO, one of Europe’s leading IT hosting companies, where he was in charge for all tech matters, innovation pipelines & the focus on agility & design thinking.

After 17 years as the CTO of STRATO, he has set up LOOM Impact AG – a new kind of impact investment finance boutique, acting like an investment bank for good. The company’s goal is to attract significantly more private & institutional money to this new investment segment and to make achieved positive effects along the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) tradable via NFT tokenization for every organization.
