HUANG YIANG

Consul General, People's Republic of China in Frankfurt am Main

HUANG Yiyang is the seventh Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Frankfurt am Main since July 2023.

Prior to his current position, he was responsible for multilateral economic diplomacy as Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Economic Affairs at the chinese Foreign Ministry and served as China’s BRICS Sous-Sherpa. He was also responsible for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. He played key coordinating roles in China’s hosting of BRICS and G20 summits, as well as the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and the High-Level Dialogue on Global Development. He also served as political director at the Chinese Mission to the European Union in Brussels.

He graduated from the China Foreign Affairs University with a Master’s Degree.
