Anirban Bose

Anirban Bose is the Head of Capgemini’s Financial Services Global Strategic Business Unit, and a member of the Group Executive Board since January 1^st, 2018. He is also responsible for overseeing the Asia Pacific business as Chairman of Asia Pacific Strategic Business Unit.

In his role as head of Financial Services Strategic Business Unit, Anirban leads one of the largest sectors for Capgemini globally, comprising of two industries: Banking and Capital Markets and Insurance. He is responsible for growing Capgemini’s mindshare, and accountable for revenue, profit, and client satisfaction across the industries. He has also championed initiatives in building sales eminence across teams, by aligning capabilities and expertise with Capgemini’s strategic objectives.

Anirban has deep experience in consulting, IT services, outsourcing, and the creation of consumer and payments’ technology innovation for leading global financial institutions.

Previously, between 2015 and 2017 Anirban led Capgemini’s Global Banking and Capital Markets business, which serves 12 of the world’s top-15 banking and financial services organizations, with teams spread across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

Prior to this from 2004 to 2007, Anirban served as executive vice president at Kanbay before its 2007 acquisition by Capgemini. At Kanbay, he drove the development of the company’s credit services practice and led its global delivery capabilities. He also steered Kanbay’s banking business unit, which offered strategic consulting to multiple global brands.

Anirban graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Technology degree and has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.
